69th Lane Studios offers a variety of classes to keep your body fit and your mind interested.  Pilates classes emphasize core conditioning and postural alignment.  Yoga classes emphasize increasing strength and flexibility.  Cardio/Fitness classes emphasize aerobic workout and sweat!


Pilates Reformer is an equipment that will challenge the body for a complete and focused workout. Private Classes only

Pilates Props

These classes uses the Pilates MAT technique and principles. Breathing and neutral pelvis are incorporated with Pilates props such as the magic circles, balls, rollers and straps to intensify muscle strengthening. It is an open level class.

Pilates Barre

Pilates Barre is a combination of exercises of classical ballet and Pilates. By combining Pilates technique such as neutral pelvis, alignment and breathing with sequences of leg lifting, plies and leg positions the workout brings strengthening, grace and tonus for the muscles.

Yoga Vinyasa

Flow Yoga focus in the connection of movement and breathing. It is an alignment oriented class, with Sun Salutations for warm up and traditional poses for stretch. Our open level is ideal for whom is new to Yoga practice or for someone that has been practicing for years.


This class is designed to bring the benefits of Yoga and Pilates together. It starts with Yoga Sun Salutations warm up and intensify with Pilates core exercises through out the class. We finish it with stretchs and a nice cool down from Yoga. It is an open level class.

MAT Pilates

Introduction to Pilates principles as breathing and neutral pelvis as well as to Pilates repertoire of exercises. Improves core conditioning, flexibility and agility. It makes your body to function better bringing the great feeling of well being.

Prenatal Yoga

This private class is dedicate to the Moms to Be, bringing a sequence of gentle Yoga to improve Circulation and overall comfort. It will bring your mind quiet and calm breathing to a relaxation and well being.

Kids Yoga 6+

Fun, stretch, and breath taking! While moving throught Yoga poses, the kids exercise and learn how to control their bodies, their breathing and how to focus.


Restorative Yoga

This class offers a gentle Yoga exercises for stretch and stress relief. The poses are propped with blocks, blankets and strips to help the body to surrender and relax. This is an open level class.

About the instructors:


Selma Trevino is the is the owner of 69th Lane Studio with her husband William Trevino. Performer, choreographer and director, Selma completed her BA in Theater Arts from UNICAMP, Brazil and MA in Performance Studies from NYU. She had five years of specialization in Corporeal Mime Technique in Paris and Los Angeles area. Her interest for Pilates started when she was in Los Angeles and had classes to improve her articulations range of motion.  Already a Yoga practitioner and Teacher in Brazil, Selma found in Pilates a complement that was missing to her training:  posture alignment.  Physical Performance techniques often bring skills to express, to create and to play.  Yoga brings lots of work in flexibility and the Pilates approach brought even more efficient ways to articulate her body. Certified in Pilates by Balanced Body, Selma takes her instruction further to help anyone to move better, to articulate their bodies in an efficient way and finally to live better everyday  life.  Selma is also working to deepen her knowledge in physical injuries to help in the Rehabilitation processes and after surgeries.

Selma sees people as individuals and unique, bringing to her students specific approaches to their bodies types and needs. She also brings laughs and smiles to everyone.


Akiko Nishijima is a modern/contemporary dancer from Japan. Certified as a Yoga teacher from YogaWorks  in 2007, also ISHTA Yoga  in 2012. She is also certified in Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training in 2007, Yin Yoga Teacher Training in 2010.


Dori Balo discovered yoga in 2009 while she was working for a financial institution and realized her practice alleviated her back pain and helped her find personal balance in everyday life.

Along the years she deepened her practice and she recently finished her teacher training at Loom Yoga Center in Brooklyn, NY.  In her classes she loves to combine creative sequencing and breathing exercises with yoga philosophy, so you will step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced. She is also a certified Reiki Master Healer.  Through yoga and Reiki, Dori seeks to inspire others to realize their own gifts and powers and step fully into their most brilliant self.

Yuliya Mazinskaya  - began her yoga practice in 2010 in her native city Almaty located at the base of
Alpine ski resort among the snow capped Alatau Mountains.
The initial reason that motivated her to start yoga practice was a huge desire to have a
child which was problematic for her family for the over three years. She believed that yoga
practice for both of the partners would help to harmonize their bodies and spirits and prepare for
parenting. The miracle happened after four months of yoga practice together with her husband.
After moving to New York in 2016 with her family, Yuliya completed 200-hour yoga teacher
training program (*RYT200) and received a Certificate of Yoga Instructor in 2017  from 
Yoga Alliance. Yuliya teaches Vinyasa-style classes that are based on the powerful combination of breath
and movement. She always emphasizes yogic principles of listening to the body and breathing.
Yuliya guides her students through their practice challenging them to explore their body, mind and
find love to themselves.
